Get expert support making your PAE/SYPA accessible 💻

To PAE writers, congratulations on finishing your first draft! To SYPA writers, we're wishing you the best of luck as you near the finish line.

This Friday and next, you're invited to two hands-on accessibility support sessions. Bring your latest draft and work directly with accessibility experts to make sure it's accessible. Any stage in the writing process is a good one to start implementing accessibility best practices.

Make an appointment with a Peer Writing Tutor ✏️

Peer Writing Tutors are back! Whether you're working on your PAE, SYPA, a final paper, or any writing assignment, tutors can provide individualized support.

Tutors are trained by an HKS faculty member to bring out the best writing in their peers through one-on-one workshopping. They can help you self-edit for clarity, concision, and style, and structure an argument to present your ideas effectively.

Tutors are available everyday! Make an appointment in Knet.

Celebrate Black History Month with dinner and a movie 🎬

Close out Black History Month with dinner, a movie, and community. We'll watch Marlon Riggs' seminal 1987 film Ethnic Notions, which traces the history of stereotypes that have fueled anti-Black prejudice in the U.S. After the film, we'll discuss its implications for Black freedom today.

This event is co-presented by the Kennedy School Student Government (KSSG), Black Student Union, Office for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (ODIB), and the HKS Library.

Explore the AAPI Caucus heritage map 🌏

In honor of Lunar New Year, the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Caucus, a student organization at HKS, had members map their heritage on a Pacific-centered globe.

Whether it be their own journey as an international student, their personal immigration story, or the travels of immigrant parents, students at HKS have homes all across the globe.

Programming + Pizza is a collaborative space for building computational research skills. Folks of all experience levels are welcome to bring their questions, insights, and projects. Our goal is to learn together (and also eat pizza). In addition to your peers, your Research & Data Librarians will be
there to provide expert support.

Zotero: Organize and Cite Your Research

Zotero is a free software tool that automatically formats citations and bibliographies, helps you keep your resources in one place, and allows you to collaborate with others on research projects.

Workshop timing:
