A new online resource on gender in negotiations
HKS Senior Lecturer Hannah Riley Bowles has launched an online collection of multimedia materials that support teaching and learning on gender in career-related and other negotiations. Bowles is co-director of the Kennedy School’s Women and Public Policy Program; her online collection, called Negotiate WELL (Work, Education, Life, and Leadership), includes teaching plans with slides and instructional materials such as cases, videos, and workbooks. Bowles was inspired to create this free resource, based on her own research and teaching tools, after being asked frequently about the materials she uses related to gender in negotiation. Says Bowles: “The materials are inclusive of negotiations at the boundary of work and family and the lived experiences of people from historically marginalized groups.” |
