Maintaining access to your HarvardKey.
Saving your emails, contacts, files, accounts, and course materials.
Migrating certain accounts to discounted versions.
Getting your free Library Borrowing Card to visit and check out books from Harvard Libraries.
Understanding how to use the HKS Library and find resources as an alum.

Take the Survey: Student Experiences with Research & Data 💻

Dozens of HKS students have already taken our survey! Adding your response will be enormously helpful for future students.

The HKS Library is eager to learn about your experiences doing research and working with data over the past year. If you wrote a paper this year, you did research. If you interviewed someone or made a bar chart, you worked with data. Did you find the resources you wanted? Did you know where to start? Did you feel like you knew where to find help? We want to know!

Tour the Library: PAEs & AAPI Community Stories 🖼️

Visit the HKS Library from now through Commencement to explore PAE project posters and stories from the HKS Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.

PAE Projects: As the culmination of their HKS experiences graduates of the Master in Public Policy (MPP) program complete a Policy Analysis Exercise (PAE). During the PAE, students work with real-world clients to develop solutions for a public or nonprofit policy issue. Each spring, a select group of MPP students present their PAE projects to the HKS community. We are pleased to showcase 11 posters from those presentations during Commencement Week 2023. You'll find them throughout the HKS Library.

AAPI Stories: In collaboration with the HKS Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging and the AAPI Caucus, the HKS Library is showcasing stories from members of the AAPI community at HKS. These stories provide an opportunity to engage more deeply with the people, identities, and experiences celebrated during AAPI Heritage Month. You'll find these stories in the Library Commons (to the left of the main library entrance).

Also for AAPI Heritage Month, the HKS Library has curated a book display featuring literary nonfiction, novels, memoirs, and poetry about AAPI identities and experiences, as well as books on AAPI history, politics, and activism. You'll find the display online and in person next to the Library Services Desk.

New Library Hours: May 13-28 🕒

From this Saturday, May 13 through Sunday, May 28, the HKS Library will have the following hours:

Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm
Saturday - Sunday: Closed

We will transition to our Summer hours on Monday, May 29. Find our full hours online.
