We welcome you to the 2023-2024 academic year! At the Center for Public Leadership, our mission is to inspire and enhance the capacity for principled, effective public leadership in government, politics, civil society, and business. We pursue our mission in an extraordinary community of student fellows, leaders in practice, scholars, educators, and staff.
Approaching the new semester, we want to introduce you to a sample of the HKS course offerings related to public leadership development, particularly those that actively strive to link theory and practice through experiential learning. Whether you are concerned with economic inequality, justice, climate change, or democratic freedoms, these courses invite you to translate classroom concepts into real-life applications.
Profiled below are a handful of Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences (MLD) courses that offer experiential learning opportunities this semester. For an introduction to all courses related to MLD, please browse the MLD Curricular Area course shopping. Information about the MLD certificate can also be found on the MLD area site.
