Additionally, please find a recording of our International Women's Day celebration of women in city leadership co-hosted by Harvard's Bloomberg Center for Cities and the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) Women and Public Policy Program.
This spring, we are also celebrating Dana Born as she approaches her retirement from CPL. As a retired brigadier general in the U.S. Air Force, Dana has brought distinctive gifts to CPL's mission to inspire and build capacity for principled, effective public leadership. Dana has played important leadership roles at CPL and in HKS executive education, most recently as chair of the Senior Executive Fellows Program and faculty advisor for the Black Family Fellowship and the National Security Fellows.
We end this Closeup with photos of Dana with Carolyn Vincent, program manager of the Black Family Fellowship, and the 2023-2024 Black Family Fellows at the end-of-year celebration in May. Please join us in expressing gratitude to Dana for her many valued contributions to the CPL community.
