Meet with librarians on citations, research or data 💻

Not sure if you're citing something correctly? Looking for more sources to support your thesis? Trying to visualize or map your data? Talk to an HKS librarian! You can:

Meet with Data & Methods Course Assistants 📊

The HKS Library's Data & Methods Course Assistants can support your quantitative and qualitative research. Make an appointment in Knet (Harvard login).

Our Quantitative Course Assistant, Eleanor Krause, can help you clean administrative and survey data, calculate summary statistics, and perform regressions and other analysis.

Our Qualitative Course Assistant, Kailah McGee Adefolalu, can help you code and organize qualitative data, conduct qualitative data analysis, and more.

Meet with Peer Writing Tutors ✒️

The HKS Library's Peer Writing Tutors can support your writing. They are not copy editors or proofreaders, but they can help you self-edit for clarity, concision, and style, and structure an argument to present your ideas effectively. Find details and make an appointment in Knet (Harvard login).

Join the Writing Accountability Group 📓

Open to all HKS students, the HKS Library's Writing Accountability Group provides structure, advice, and moral support for those working on PAE, SYPA, research papers, and other projects. The group convenes every week to check in on goals, outcomes, and strategies for success, and to share a dedicated space for writing.

When: Thursdays, 11am-12pm, through March 30.
Where: Library Commons (ground floor of Littauer, to the left of the main Library entrance).
